A Bit About Us...

Launching soon, Hoop&Twig is a brand new line of premium bamboo sock inspired by the time past

when socks stayed with us for years, defined us.

With the modern world progessing, we turned to Bamboo and developed a bespoke blend that allow strength and confort like no others, while remaining a fashion statement.

We will start small, and will grow our collection in the month to come.

About our socks

For the last year, we have been trying to design a pair of socks that would suit any occasion, from a formal dinner, to a day at work or a mountain walk.

We turn to the timeless Scottish Lilt rib design and build a special blend of fabric from scratch.

The bamboo viscous offer great comfort and anti-bacterial qualities, while the cotton increase the resilience and durability.

But this is nothing new.

While working with several manufacturer, we realised a lot of new product yarn are based on the same process, and to insure the softness of the fabric, most reduce the twisting of the yarn.

This make for a wonderfully soft product to the touch, but reduce dramatically its resistance to abrasion, which happen at every step you make in your shoes.

To fix this, we have worked with our supplier to produce a high twist yarn, offering both great comfort and sturdiness...Hoop&Twig was born.

We are starting with our signature Charcoal Black socks, but keep your eyes open as many colours are to follow.

Care instructions

Like our inspiration, we are quite traditional.

You "can" wash your Hoop&Twig socks at 40° and you "can" use the dryer for them, but we prefer the 30° temperature and more importantly, to dry them on a line, the old fashion way...

This will make them last much longer an retain there original comfort.

On a side note, instead of using fabric conditioner, try to put some distilled vinegar in the conditioner segment of your machine,

You will enjoy a greater and more sustainable result

(really you can do that for most of your clothes)
